Many beauty brands committed to social responsibility and environmental consciousness seek certifications from organizations like EcoCert and the COSMetic Organic Standard (COSMOS) to demonstrate their ethical practices. Additional certifications, such as B-Corp, Fairtrade, and the Soil Association, further assure consumers of a brand's dedication to ethical standards.

Obtaining EcoCert certification enables a brand to highlight its environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices, fostering client trust. Similarly, COSMOS certification guarantees consumers that cosmetics are organic and natural, adhering to rigorous standards.

As of recent data, over 35,000 products across 84 countries carry the COSMOS ORGANIC or COSMOS NATURAL label, with more than 13,400 raw materials labeled as COSMOS CERTIFIED and over 10,000 as COSMOS APPROVED. The COSMOS standard outlines criteria that companies must meet to verify their products are genuinely organic or natural, produced with the highest sustainable practices.

The COSMOS standard was established in 2010 by five European organizations—BDIH (Germany), Cosmebio (France), Ecocert Greenlife SAS (France), ICEA (Italy), and the Soil Association (Great Britain)—to create a harmonized international standard for organic and natural cosmetics. This collaborative effort has led to widespread adoption, with over 1,600 manufacturers producing more than 25,000 products in over 45 countries adhering to the standard.   en.wikipedia.org

By adhering to these certifications, beauty brands not only ensure product integrity by using ingredient that adhere to these standards,  but also contribute positively to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, aligning with the values of conscientious consumers.

As manufacturers who are consciously focused on product integrity, we incorporate ingredients that follow the  Fair Trade, COSMOS and EcoCert standards for our formulations.
